PROTECT FOQUS is a compact Fog Cannon developed to provide fast and controlled security fog protection in very small spaces.

FOQUS operates with three selectable area settings — 8, 16 and 25 m² — and is designed to protect small rooms up to 25 m². Its reusable 1.1-litre XTRA+ fog-fluid container provides enough fluid for 20 discharges. The Fog Maintenance function can be used to help maintain fog density after the initial discharge.

02 / SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE

Integration & verification

The unit is engineered for professional installation with 700 W power consumption, 230 V / 50 Hz mains supply, approximately 7 minutes cold-start heating time and compact dimensions of 400 × 240 × 135 mm. Installation weight is 7 kg. An impact-resistant anti-sabotage steel casing, daily automatic battery testing, electronic fluid measurement and optical / audible / electrical status indicators support serviceability and operational security.

FOQUS can be integrated with different alarm systems and is compatible with IPCard, MultiCard and IntelliBox. A straight nozzle is standard and can be exchanged for a 30° nozzle when required. PROTECT’s technical documentation explicitly requires a test firing after installation rather than relying only on calculated room volume. PROTECT also offers a dedicated FOQUS MC First Alert Ready variant with an internally installed Z-Wave module; this is a separate product variant and not an inherent feature of the standard FOQUS.
